Description:

Shrub. Shrub about 2.5m high; leaves dark green above, light green below; calyx green with glandular hairs and reddish glands, petals white, stamens and anthers white; young fruit green, ripe fruit purple. Flowers and fruits hidden under leaves.
Habitat:

Forest on lateritic to clayey soil.
