Brazil. Maranhão. Lorêto Mun. "Ilha de Balsas" region, between the Rio Balsas and Parnaíba. About 40 km south of Loreto. Near place called "Picada", on trail to the creek, "Riacho da Picada". Alt. 250 m. (820 ft.)

Description:

Standard 6 ½ mm. wide, 6 mm. tall; total height of face of flower 12 mm. Petals white with pink tinge. Keel with pink spot underneath. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
