Description:

Epiphytic (at lower elevations) or epilithic at summit, to 0.5 m tall. Calyx pale green. Corolla red. [DNA; pickled].
Habitat:

Rocky top dominated by Bromeliaceae, Melastomataceae, Ericaceae (5 spp.) and Clusia.
