Genus Description - Plants terrestrial, sometimes epilithic. Rhizomes short, erect, with numerous scales at apex. Fronds monomorphic, 1-4- pinnate, the axes covered by articulate, reddish hairs adaxially, with scales below. Sori round; without indusia in our flora.
