Differentiation in the staminal tube of species of
defined by the size and orientation of lower part of the tube in comparison to the upper part of the tube. -
Notes
The following genera have staminal tubes that are unidimensional (Allantoma, Cariniana, and Gustavia whereas the staminal tubes of species of Grias have staminal tubes divided into distinct lower and upper chambers. This feature is best observed in a longitudinal section of the staminal tube.
