The first step in making a search is to select the group you wish to search by choosing it from the drop down list located in the first field, for example select “Flowering plants” if you wish to get information about a flower you see in June.
The following series of search fields facilitates retrieving collections with information typed into the boxes. For example, if you wish to view all collections with some part of the flower colored yellow in the month of June, select June from the drop down list in the field named “Collection date” and yellow in the field called “Plant description” Anything yellow in the description on the label will be retrieved using this search, i.e., you will also retrieve yellow fruits, etc.
