Description:

Herb, 5-7 cm tall. Calyx with 10 sepals, these as long as the petals, green. All other flower parts brilliant yellow; petals 5, slightly notched at apex. Leaves palmately compound, the leaflets 5. Stipules present, two per node. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Open sandy, sunny, dry area along road. The flowers were facing toward the sun.
