United States of America. New York. Westchester Co. Town of Pound Ridge. Near main entrance on Upper Shad Road and first part of the Western Loop of the Zofnass Family Preserve as far as the first wet area with large stepping stone bridge.

Description:

Herb, in large clump. Petals white in bud, purple when expanded except for white toward theiir bases.and dark purple lines. Spur petal slightly longer than lateral petals. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Forest in damp but not saturated soil.
