Description
Description (from Fisher, T. R., 1988): Stems scabrous to nearly glabrous; leaves entire to remotely toothed, scabrous above, merely pubescent beneath, lower leaves (often missing at anthesis) long-petiolate, cordate, ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, middle leaves with shorter petioles, lanceolate, tapering to petiole, upper leaves scant, becoming sessile; inflorescence open-paniculate; phyllaries linear with conspicuous diamond-shaped green area at tip, glabrous on back, ciliolate; ray flowers blue.
