  • Description

    Herb, 3.5 m tall. Stem hollow, cut stem yields abundant white latex. Inflorescence heads 15 mm long x 5 mm wide at base, the base swollen. Phyllaries narrowly lanceolate. Flowers: both ray and disk flowers present, the anthers with vertical blue lines, the stigma blue.
