  • Description

    Tree, 15 m x 20 cm. Buttress low, ca. 10 cm long. Bark light brown, reticulate. Newly flushed stem reddish-brown, pubescent, peeling in long strips when removed from stem.. Leaves: bud pressed against stem. Inforescence fasiculate, subtended by bud scales, the pedicel green. Flowers 4 mm long, 2 mm wide, with pedicels arching downward, the perianth uniseriate, the tepals fused into a small cup, the margen of cup lobed; stamens with anthers, dark brown, lobed; ovary superior, green in middle, the sides with fringe of white trichomes, the style bifid at apex, with white pubescence.
