Description
Small tree, 12 m x 15 cm. Bark vertically fissured. Leaves flushing, opposite, simple, the margins lobed. Flowers bisexual, staminate, or pistillate. Inflorescences fasiculate,the pedicles arching downward; sepals 5, petals 5, same color, the sepals appear outside and are narrower than the petals; ovary superior, 2-seeded, with lateral wings beginning to develop, the stigma bifid to base, exserted; 5 separate nectaries at base of ovary.
