Description
Single-stemmed shrub. Older stems with streak-shaped lenticels. Petioles and young stems often tinged with pink. Flowers very small (ca. 2 mm diam.), 5 merous, calyx entire, petals white. Fruits first green, then yellow, then red, and then black at maturity, only a few black fruits on shrub. Seeds 2 per fruit, somewhat flattened. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
