Description
Tree 7 m tall, the trunk ca 10 cm diam, branched near the base; bark brown, smooth. This is the largest chestnut tree in the area and the only one ever seen fertile. The same tree with male flowers collected on 31 May 2009 (Atha 7406). Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
