  Fertile frond of Polystichum acrosticoides based on S. A. Mori & M. Rothman 27947 from the Westchester Wilderness Walk/Zofnass Family Preserve, Westchester Co., New York. The frond is fertile for about one-third of the upper length of the frond and sterile for the remaining length of the lower part of the frond..
