Description
Oppositely arranged fasiculate inflorescences of Acer rubrum based on S. A. Mori & C. Gracie 27685 from the Zofnass Family Preserve, Westchester County, New York. The darker red anthers have not yet fully opened but the other anthers have dehisced via lateral sliits and are covered by yellowish-white colored pollen. Note the bud scales subtending each group of flowers.
