  Species Description - Glabrous, 3–8 dm; lvs evidently to obscurely 3- nerved, 2–6 cm × 1.5–4 mm; infl rather small, the heads sessile in small glomerules; invol 3–4 mm, its bracts atomiferous-glandular, evidently to rather obscurely green-tipped; disk-fls 12–20, as many as or a few more than the small rays; receptacle scarcely fimbrillate; 2n=18. Moist lake-shores; s. N.S. (Solidago g.)
