Description
Species Description - Much like no. 10 [Vicia villosa Roth]; stem and lvs appressed-hairy to glabrate; racemes mostly 5–15-fld; cal-lobes a little shorter, scarcely villous; pod ± pubescent, varying to glabrous; 2n=14. Native of s. Europe, intr. in fields, roadsides and waste places at scattered stations from Me. to Mont., s. to Ga. and Calif. May–Aug. (V. villosa ssp. eriocarpa and var. glabrescens)
