Description
Species Description - Slender, fibrous-rooted annual to sometimes biennial or perennial, 5–15 cm, often freely branched, generally glandular-hairy upwards; lvs alternate, linear, subterete, 0.5–1.8 cm, glaucous; fls (4–)6(–8)-merous, numerous in unilateral, sympodial cymes; pet 4–7 mm, white with pink or green midvein; frs widely divergent; 2n=40. Native of se. Europe, occasionally escaped from cult. May–July.
