Description
Species Description - Much like no. 1 [Lysimachia ciliata L.], but the rhizome very short and freely rooting, scarcely more than a mere crown; lvs mostly ovate, the larger 4–8 × 1.5–3.5 cm, the long petiole not ciliate, or ciliate only at the very base; 2n=34, 102. Dry, upland woods, mostly in the mts.; Ky. and w. Va. to Ga. and n. Ala. Late May–Aug. (Steironema intermedium Kearney, not Janka)
