Species Description - Climbing 2–5 m; lvs slender-petioled, broadly ovate to suborbicular, 10–15 cm long and wide, shallowly 3-lobed to entire; fr bluish-black, 6–10 mm, poisonous; 2n=52. Moist woods and thickets; w. Que. and w. N. Engl. to Man., s. to Ga. and Okla. June, July.
