Description
Species Description - Much like no. 1 [Aletris farinosa L.]; raceme usually looser; fls yellow, campanulate, 5–7 mm, the perianth-lobes triangular, 1.5 mm, nearly as wide; 2n=26. Pine-barrens, chiefly on the coastal plain; s. Md. to Fla. and Tex. June, July.
