Distribution
Distribution. The distribution range shows an Afro-South American link. In South America, the species occurs relatively sporadically in eastern and southern Venezuela, through the Guianas southeastwards to Brazilian Para, and southwards to central Amazonian basin, while in Africa its wide range covers tropical West and East Africa, central Africa and Madagascar.
