Description
Latin Diagnosis - A var. lamellata petiolis et foliolis maioribus, mucronatis, marginibus devolutis, alabastris maioribus, et staminorum maiorum filamentis glabris differt. Petioli ca 4.5 cm longi; foliolorum par inferius ovale, mucronatum, 8.5-9 cm longum, 4.8-5.3 cm latum, paribus reliquis 10-11 cm longis, 5.5-5.8 cm latis; alabastra 7-8 mm diametro, haud umbonata; staminorum maiorum filamenta glabra.
Description - Fruiting collections of this species might easily be referred to S. benthamiana, but the presence of bracteoles, the rather different shape of the leaflets, and the smooth surface of the buds serve to distinguish S. lamellata.
