Type
Type collection. J. F. Widgren s.n. (holotype BR; isotypes S, US), Minas Gerais, Brazil. Although this variety was described by Bentham, no specimen of the type collection was found at Kew and so I have considered the Brussels sheet as the holotype, since it is the only sheet bearing evidence that Bentham saw it. The label has a notation in Bentham s hand.
