Description
Distribution and Ecology - PANAMA. Panama: Dwyer et al. 7250 (MO) (Cerro Jefe, summit 2900 ft), Tyson2077 (MO) (Cerro Azul, ± 2000 ft).This species was known previously from the type collection from Cerro Jefe and now it is apparent that it is one of the numerous endemics recently discovered on relatively low summits of mountains in Panama.

Discussion
Staminate flowers of this species are not known.
Tyson states on the label: "vine, fruit yellow." Dwyer's specimen is from a vine 6 ft long.
