  Species Description - A var hirticalyx pedicellis minus pubescentibus, indumento adpresso-cinereo-puberulenti recedit; praeterea calyce fere glabro nisi parte apicis atque tubo aliquantum pubescenti pilis adpressis paucis rigidis hispidulis munito.

• Discussion

  As in var hirticalyx, the upper surface of the leaf-blade is distinctive in having a pilosulous midrib. The pedicels are less densely pubescent and the calyx lacks the long, pilose pubescence found in var hirticalyx.
