Rondeletia educta Standley ex Steyermark, Acta Biol. Ven. 4: 109. 1964.
Type. From Colombia.
This species differs from A. hispichdas in the shorter appressed hairs of the lower side of the leaf confined to the midrib and lateral nerves and not present on the tertiary veins, and in the midrib of the upper leaf-surface with short, appressed instead of arachnoid hairs. The ferruginous pubescence of the calyx, branches of the inflorescence, and hypanthium are characteristic also of A. educta.
