  Species Description - Rather robust and elongate, shiny, green or golden plants, 10—15(—33) cm long, pendent, 1-2-pinnate. Leaves 4 rows, erect-spreading to spreading and strongly complanate, 1.5-2.5 mm long, broadly curved-asymmetric from a subcordate base, short-acuminate; margins plane, serrulate above or nearly throughout; costa none or short and double or single; cells linear, smooth, those at the base yellowish, shorter, broader, thin-walled but often porose. Dioicous. Setae up to 4 cm long, reddish, smooth; capsules inclined to pendent, ovoid-cylindric, contracted below the mouth when dry; operculum conic, rostrate; exostome teeth lanceolate, yellowish, papillose; endostome segments keeled, perforate, pale, smooth, cilia none. Spores 16-18 µm, smooth. Calyptrae not seen.
