    Species Description - Caespitose epiphytes with erect secondary stems to 3.5 cm long and enclosed in ciliate, lepanthiform bracts. Leaves orbicular, obtuse, variously suffused with purple abaxially, 1.6-3.5 X 2 cm. Inflorescences several, few-flowered, subsessile racemes. Flowers dark yellow with contrasting darkmaroon lip; dorsal sepal broadly lanceolate, acute, to 5 X 1.8 mm, the lateral sepals lanceolate, acute, connate at base, to 4.5 X 1.4 mm; petals oblong, erose, 2 X 0.7 mm; lip triangular- ligulate, with small auriculate projections, fimbriate, 2.8 X 0.9 mm; column short, apically erose, with short foot. Fl (Sep, Oct), fr (Aug).
