    Species Description - Epiphytes with erect, grass-like secondary stems to 40 cm, on a trailing rhizome. Leaves numerous, distichous, linear, obliquely emarginate, to 4 X 0.3 cm. Inflorescences terminal, secund, few-flowered racemes to 1.2 cm long. Flowers bright rose-purple, tubular; dorsal sepal lanceolate, subacute, 8.5 X 3 mm, the lateral sepals subsimilar to dorsal sepal, connate for half length, the resulting structure 9 X 6 mm; petals trullate, 8 X 3.3 mm; lip ligulate, broader towards base, 8.5 X 2 mm, with central, darker-purple constriction; column rose-purple, half length of lip, with short, strongly curved foot.
