Description
Genus Description - Plants terrestrial or epiphytic. Rhizomes long-creeping and filiform with widely spaced fronds or short-creeping and ascending or erect with clustered fronds. Fronds monomorphic or dimorphic; petiole brown or black, round, with or without wings; blade minuscule to medium, ovate to lanceolate, simple to 5-pinnate, glabrous or with simple hairs; veins free or reticulate, without included free veinlets, sometimes with false veins at right angles to true veins. Sori apical or marginal on ultimate segments of pinnae, always located at apex of veins; involucres conical, truncate, or with two small lips.
