    Species Description - Rhizomes erect or ascending, 12.5-20 mm diam., covered with dark-brown scales, 6 mm long at apex. Fronds few, pinnate, 50-85 cm long; petiole 20-40 cm long, greenish-brown, with scales at base; blade ovate or oblong, with 8-15 pairs of alternate, subopposite or opposite pinnae; pinnae lanceolate, unequal at base, petiolulate or sessile, the margins crenulate, lobed, or pinnatifid. Sori linear, solitary on each ultimate segment, 4-8 on pinnatifid lobes; indusium entire.

    Distribution and Ecology - Near creeks in lowland forest.
