Description
Genus Description - Plants weedy, terrestrial. Rhizomes subterranean, very long, spreading, branched, articulate, covered at apex with reddishbrown hairs. Fronds medium to very large, generally coriaceous, 3- or 4-pinnate, the basal pinnae, when young, with glandular nectaries, the ultimate segments variable but always with revolute margins; veins all free. Sori marginal and generally continuous, the sporangia borne between end of vein and false indusium (i.e., modified margin of blade).
