    Species Description - Rhizome stout, compact, erect; rhizome scales 10-20 mm long, 0.5-1 mm wide, light brown, linear, entire, mixed with hairlike scales, 0.5-1.5 mm long; fronds clumped; stipe ¼-2/5 the frond length, stramineous, scales at base like those of rhizome, underlayer of hairlike scales; blade pin-nate-pinnatifid, oblong-lanceolate, 24-28 cm wide, pinnae linear-oblong, acute, sessile or with stalk 4 mm long, cut nearly to costa; rachis adaxially with minute glandular hairs, dense ctenitoid hairs, 0.3-0.5 mm long and abaxially with twisted, toothed scales, 1-4 mm long, 0.1-0.3 mm wide; segments oblong, obtuse, entire, costae adaxially with dense ctenitoid hairs, 0.1-0.3 mm long, abaxially with scattered, twisted, toothed hairlike scales, 1-4 mm long and minute, glandular hairs; lamina adaxially with sparse 0.1-0.3 mm long ctenitoid hairs on veins, abaxially with sparse lax hairs, 0.1-0.3 mm long and minute glandular hairs on veins and appressed, yellow cylindrical glands on blade, margin with 0.1-0.3 mm long ctenitoid hairs; veins unbranched, reaching margin; sori supramedial, exindusiate or indusia small, deciduous.
