Description
Genus Description - Unarmed trees. Leaves large, bipinnate. Inflorescences polygamous, axillary to leaves among new terminal growth, or variously intercalary, inconspicuous, racemose or paniculate. Flowers greenish-white with an elongate hypanthium; calyx and corolla essentially regular and similar; stamens 10, included, of two lengths, the longer opposite calyx lobes; ovary sessile. Legume indehiscent, sessile, asymmetrically oblong, turgid, woody when mature, persistent.
