Description
Description (from Fisher, T. R., 1988): Stems glandular or viscid-glandular in the inflorescence, sometimes with spreading hairs, basal tufts abundant; leaves glabrous to scabrous, hirsute above to more villous beneath, crenate to more often serrate on margins, teeth mucronate, acuminate to obtuse, long-petiolate, cordate, especially the middle and lower; inflorescence corymbiform, bracts few; phyllaries glandular, ciliolate, often with short hairs, imbricate, sharp and acute to blunt; ray flowers pale to rather vivid lilac, or merely purple-tinged.
