  • Description

    Diagnosis: Pileus convex, pale cinnamon brown to cinnamon brown, dry to moist, finely pebbly (like Aur. mirabilis), with sterile projecting margin. Stipe white, coarsely reticulate above, sublacunose below and develping dull red to dirty yellow stains with age (not oxidation stains). Hymenophore vinaceous pink, depressed around stipe. Spores with SMOOTH PLAGE, otherwise with short, flat meandering ridges.
