Remarks: Holotype of E. tampense at K. Lindley writes in the protologue: “It occurs near Tampa Bay, whence we have specimens communicated by Dr. Torrey.” This NY specimen (left-hand on the sheet, NY barcode 04272404) is stamped “Torrey Herbarium”, and N.L. Britton writes on the specimen sheet: “The rest of this collection is at Kew, named by Lindley”, indicating the two specimens are duplicates, and thus the isotype status of the NY specimen.
