Description
Diagnosis: Originally thought to be Cortinarius violaceus, but differs in lacking caulocystidia, and differs from the sympatric C. neotropics by virtue of larger and more heavily verrucose spores and pale violet contex. C. neotropicus also has caulocystidia.
