Description
Tree 30 m tall, 69.5 cm dbh. Bole cylindrical. Not buttressed. Outer bark fissured, soft, light yellow-brown; inner bark hard, fibrous, pale yellow. Sapwood medium orange-yellow. Slash moist. Flowers with light yellow petals, a darker yellow hood, and even darker yellow stamens. Flower buds in cytological fixative. In full flower, apparently near end of flowering season. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
