    Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Unable to determine which road is being referenced in the locality description; georeferenced to the geographic center of the city of Fontanillas, which sits along Rio Juruena in Mato Grosso, Brazil. Using Google Maps - Satellite View, located the city of Fontanillas. Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates of the approximate geographic center of the city. Because Fontanillas does not have defined spatial boundaries, used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to measure from the selected coordinates to the geographic center of the nearest named place, the city of Castanheira, then halved this distance to approximate the linear extent of Fontanillas. Input coordinates, linear extent (18393.75 m.), and measurement error (.01 m.) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius.
