  • Georeferencing Method

Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Locality description states base of construction site for the Balbina Hydroelectric Dam. Unsure of where the construction site is; georeferenced to the geographic center of the Balbina Hydroelectric Dam, although collection most likely not from that exact location but more likely adjacent to it (in the surrounding fields or wetlands). Using Google Maps, located the Balbina Hydroelectric Dam. Used the measurement tool to measure the total extent of the dam, then approximated the geographic center. Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates. Used linear extent as uncertainty radius.
