Georeferenced to the approximate geographic center of Simons Kreek in Suhoza, Para, Suriname. Used the reference material and Google Maps - Earth View to locate Simons Kreek, a tributary of Suriname Rivier. Used the Google Maps - Measure Distance Tool to measure a straight line between the approximate geographic center of the mouth of Simons Kreek and the headwaters of the stream (approximated through the dense forest cover), then halved this distance to find the midpoint of the line. Chose a point along Simons Kreek nearest to the midpoint of the line; used the Google Maps - What's Here Tool to find the approximate geographic midpoint of the stream, on the adjacent shore (collection assumed to be terrestrial). Used the Google Maps – Measure Distance Tool again to find the linear extent by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent of Simons Kreek. Input coordinates, coordinate precision (.00001 degrees), datum (WGS84), linear extent (1830.0 m), and measurement error (5 m) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius.
