Location

Brazil. Maranhão. Lorêto Mun. "Ilha de Balsas" region, between the Balsas and Parnaíba Rivers. Ca. 2/3 km south of main house of Fazenda "Morros", ca. 35 km south of Lorêto.
Habitat

On a low knoll with very pebbly soil, low trees to 5m. Tall space several m. apart and ground 30% covered with grassy clumps and a few herbs and low shrubs.
Description

Tepals light violet-rose. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
