Steep slopes on massive red sandstone and shale. Forest with Tipuana tipu, some converted to grassy savanna-like pasture.

Description
Herbs or somewhat woody below. Flowers with musty Senecio odor (12:25 P.M., overcast, drizzly). Rays bright yellow; disc a darker yellow.
