Georeferencing Method
Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Georeferenced to the geographic center of road Estrada Dias Martins in Rio Branco, Acre. Using Google Maps - Satellite View, located Estrada Dias Martins in Rio Branco. Used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to measure a straight line between the beginning of this road (at point where R. Isaura Parente turns into Est. Dias Martins) and approximate end of this road (where Est. Dias Martins intersects with Al. Sabiá); halved this distance to approximate the midpoint of Est. Dias Martins. Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates of the midpoint. Input coordinates, linear extent (distance from the midpoint to the farthest extent of Estrada Dias Martins, 2746.13 m.), and measurement error (.01 m.) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius.
