Description
Tree, 20 m x 30 cm. Fruits recently fallen to ground. Entire fruit (with base and operculum) depressed globose, the largest fruit base 3.5 cm long x 7.5 cm wide, the smallest fruit base 2.2 cm long x 5 cm wide, the pericarp soft, leathery, 5 mm thick, the calyx-lobes conspicuous, in middle of base of fruit, abruptly tapered froom calyx ring to pedicel, the operculum dome-shaped, no sign of umbo. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
