Habitat
Primary forest on terra firme. Soils sandy and well-drained in most places.

Description
Tree, 18 m x 14.7 cm. Bark brown, fissured, with raised lenticels. Petals and ligule white, androecial hood yellow, filaments of fertile anthers white, anthers yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
