Description

Tree, 25-30 x 55 cm. With steep, moderately trhick buttresses to 2.5 m tall. Petals cream with slight tinge of pink on outside. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Tree just beginning to flower, lots of other individuals of the same species in flower.

Used the Google Maps - Measure Distance Tool to find the approximate linear extent of the airstrip by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent of the airstrip. Input coordinates (3.094277, -56.473962), linear extent (1.1 km), measurement error (.01 km), offset distance (9 km), offset direction (SW), and distance precision (1 km) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the offset coordinates and uncertainty radius (according to Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Offset: Offset at a heading).
